Paramount has announced the official release date for “Flight” on Blu-ray, DVD, Digital Download and On Demand will February 5, 2013. The Two-Disc Combo will include Blu-ray, DVD, Digital and UltraViolet copies, along with featurettes “Origins of Flight,” “The Making of Flight,” “Anatomy of a Plane Crash,” and highlights from a Q&A panel. The Blu-ray is formatted in 1080p at 2.39:1 widescreen aspect ratio with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Audio tracks are also offered in Spanish, Portuguese, French. “Flight” was directed by Robert Zemeckis (“Forrest Gump”) and stars the Oscar-winning actor Denzel Washington (“Training Day”) as commercial pilot Whip Whitaker. The “Flight” Two-Disc Combo with Blu-ray, DVD, Digital Copy and UltraViolet access code carries an MSRP of $39.99. Amazon has got “Flight” available to pre-order for $19.99.
