Boxee TV boasts early adopter perks

Boxee TV, the newest living room invader looking to sway you away from cable or satellite, is barreling into stores right now with a slew of holiday shopping incentives. The $99 device packs a DVR, dual ATSC/QAM tuners, and apps like Netflix, Vudu, Pandora and YouTube, with unlimited storage via the cloud at $15/month. Pick up a Boxee TV over the next couple of months and you’ll get three free months of “No Limits DVR” service, plus a reduced $10 monthly fee for the lifetime of your subscription. Early adopters will also receive three free months of Netflix, and that’s for both new and current subscribers. Boxee is also offering a $6 Vudu credit during the promotional period.
