Excited about this year’s MLB World Series? We sure as hell are! This year the San Francisco Giants (with a come from behind win against the St. Louis Cardinals) will face the Yankees-sweeping Detroit Tigers. On the mound opening night we’ll see Justin Verlander (DET) vs. Barry Zito (SF) at AT&T Park in San Francisco. The game starts at 8:00 PM Eastern Time on Weds. Oct. 24. The 2012 World Series is broadcast by FOX (transmitting in 720p and 480i) and will run through Nov. 1st. Check your local listings and be sure to tune-in to the HD broadcast of the game.
