Crackle has launched an app for Windows Phone and NOOK tablets that’s free to download and watch ad-supported movies and TV shows. The app has also been given an update which improves the user interface, supports the Android video player, and optimizes graphics for Apple iOS devices with retina displays. “Pineapple Express,” “Snatch,” and “Saving Silverman” are just a few of the movie titles available to watch on Crackle. Two new original series: “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” featuring Jerry Seinfeld and “From the Basement” from Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich are also available to stream. Sony says an app for Amazon’s Kindle will also be available soon.
