Here’s some good news for Apple TV owners. Hulu has just announced their premium subscription program Hulu Plus is now available for Apple TV. Hulu serves up current and classic TV shows, feature length movies, and short films. Non-members who want to try the service (which costs $7.99 per month), can do so free-of-charge for one week. Hulu Plus is also available for iPad, iPhone, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, TVs, PCs, and other devices.
Hulu is owned by NBCUniversal, Fox Entertainment Group, Disney-ABC Television Group, and Providence Equity Partners. The service currently has between 1.5 and 2 million paying subscribers, with approximately 31 million users overall. Their website, hulu.com, was launched in 2008.
