HDNet Movies channel has some new movies planned for this month we thought you should know about. Start with the classic sci-fi film 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 18 at 3:05 PM. For a more serious watch, Ang Lee’s Sense and Sensibility will air Sunday, Aug. 19. Or, if you’re a Jennifer Lopez fan check out her memorable performance as the pop star Selena on Wednesday, Aug. 15. HDNet Movies only shows films in high-definition at 1080i resolution. After a rebrand of HDNet to AXS TV (which many question the plausibility of), the sister channel HDNet Movies still exists. We’re hoping it stays that way.
