DirecTV’s Audience Network to bow original series ‘ROGUE’

DirecTV has announced a new original series to premiere on the satcaster’s own Audience Network. The series, titled “ROGUE,” will star Thandie Newton (Mission Impossible 2, Crash) as a “morally and emotionally conflicted cop” who has a relationship with a crime boss who may have been involved in her son’s death. “ROGUE” will begin production in August 2012 with the first episode to air summer 2013. The Audience Network is exclusive to DirecTV subscribers.
