President Obama to provide special introduction to the American classic.
USA Network will broadcast the classic American film “To Kill A Mockingbird” on Saturday, April 7th at 8PM ET/PT. And, in collaboration with the American Film Institute and Universal Pictures, President Obama will provide a special introduction to the film. Saturday’s nationwide airing will be the first for the restored version of the 1962 film, following the release of the 50th Anniversary Blu-ray Edition early this year. “To Kill A Mockingbird” was nominated for eight Academy Awards and took home three wins including Best Actor (Gregory Peck), Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Art Direction.
