Dish Network has added new movie channel EPIX 3 to their lineup. The HD channel can be found on channel 382 (right next to EPIX and EPIX 2) and features hits such as Rango, Thor and Super 8. Dish customers must be subscribed to the Blockbuster Movie Pass in order to receive EPIX 3 HD channel.
On January 1, Dish also added newly branded channel EPIX Drive-In (formerly known as The 3 from EPIX) which is available to customers who subscribe to DISH’s America’s Top 250 package. The channel also provides select titles to Dish’s On Demand library and to online movie services EpixHD.com and Dishonline.com. To watch the movies online, you just need to have an authenticated username and password.
“Our goal is to bring the best entertainment to our viewers and provide them content they want, when they want it, and we are pleased to continue working with EPIX to offer more movie choices to our subscribers on EPIX Drive-In and EPIX 3,” said Dave Shull, senior vice president of Programming for DISH.
