Today Microsoft announced a bunch of new entertainment related apps for the Xbox 360. The apps come a week after the release of the new Xbox Live update which brought enhanced Kinect controls, cloud storage, and streaming TV content. Among the new apps available for download are iHeartRadio, MSNBC.com, TMZ, and access to 26 live channels from Verizon FiOS TV.

Sony Computer Entertainment and Naughty Dog officially released a trailer for the upcoming game "The Last of Us" at the Spike VGA awards. Sony boasts the trailer was captured entirely on a PlayStation console. "The Last of Us" is about two survivors, Joel and Ellie, trying to survive in a nation devastated by a modern plague.
