Netflix frequently adds new movie and TV show titles to their streaming library collection -- all you need is an internet connection. Among them are plenty of holiday-related titles, such as Yes, Virginia, Gotta Catch Santa Claus, and the black & white version of Miracle on 34th Street from 1947.

Amazon's LOVEFILM in the UK has signed a multi-year contract with Sony Pictures Television which gives the company streaming distribution rights to new and upcoming titles.

This year's Super Bowl will be available streaming over the internet, as well as two wild card games and the Pro Bowl. NBC announced the news yesterday which will give viewers access to those games on PCs via NBC.com and NFL.com.

Walmart's VUDU service now supports Xbox 360 and Kinect so you can search, rent or own movies using voice and gesture commands. Your VUDU content, which also exists in the cloud, can be viewed via Xbox Live or on any device that is connected to the internet such as tablets, PCs, Blu-ray Disc players, or other consoles and devices.

And, Colombiana is a film about a young woman who watches her parents get murdered and turns into a assassin. The film stars Zoe Saldana (Avatar, Star Trek) and the Blu-ray Disc includes a free Ultraviolet digital copy.

Gamefly has launched their public beta for a new PC gaming client. If you're a subscriber, you can download titles from Gamefly's "Unlimited PC" library and play unlimited times at no charge. Assassin's Creed, Jewel Quest, and Deus Ex are mentioned as titles free-to-play for subscribers.

On Christmas day Blockbuster will give away two free packs of AA or AAA batteries -- no purchase necessary. The stores will be open from noon until 10 p.m. and the batteries are available while supplies last. Blockbuster is hoping the promotion will get customers into stores on X-mas day to pick up a new movie or gaming title.
