DIRECTV launches update to iPad app

DIRECTV recently launched an update to their free iPad app which will allow you to watch live TV from anywhere in your home or office where a DIRECTV HD DVR is connected to a network with internet access. The iPad app also allows you to record, search and control content from your lineup including setting parental controls. The update (Version 1.3.5) also fixes an audio issue which streams sound when the mute button is pressed. You can download the free iPad app from the App Store on Apple’s iTunes.
