Sony is now taking pre-orders on their first two tablets to hit the market. The Sony Tablet S will hit shelves next month in two hard-drive configurations — 16GB and 32 GB — priced at $499 and $599, respectively. Each tablet will feature a 9.4-inch touchscreen display and NVIDIA Tegra 2 mobile processor. The Sony tablets will be shipped with Android 3.1 installed and built-in Wi-Fi. Check out more photos, full specs and pre-order info here. Sony also has a second tablet model lined up for later this year. The Tablet P is a smaller device with a 5.5-inch display which also houses a NVIDIA Tegra 2 mobile processor but adds 4G capability.
UPDATE: Sony is offering $100 credit towards a Tablet S if you trade-in your old tablet.
