Amazon’s Blu-ray Deal of the Week is WWII in HD, an A&E Home Video release that presents real color footage of WWII — not colorized — that is digitally mastered into HD quality. The footage was collected from around the world and was previously unseen by many Americans. Regularly priced at $39.95, WWII in HD is currently marked down to $13.99. The two-disc set contains 10 episodes each running around 45 minutes for a total of 470 minutes of footage. Extras include character profiles, and behind-the-scenes featurettes: “Finding the Footage” and “Preserving the Footage.” The Amazon Blu-ray Deal of the Week runs through August 13.
