Paramount will release “Rango” Â starring Johnny Depp on Blu-ray/DVD Combo disc with Digital Copy, as well as standard-def DVD on July 15, 2011. The Blu-ray/DVD Combo disc will contain both the theatrical version and extended cut which includes an alternate ending. Ten deleted scenes, production featurettes, and film commentaries are also included in the edition.
The Blu-ray Disc version is formatted in 1080p with 2.39:1 widescreen aspect ratio and English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. The DVD is formatted in widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio with English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.
