Friday Night Lights will begin its fifth season on NBC this Friday, April 15 at 8/7c. And, even though the series already premiered on DirecTV last fall (ending in February this year), eager fans await the much-loved series that will finally come to an end.
Season five begins with the episode “Expectations” where East Dillon Coach Taylor searches for a way to improve the team’s offense under the scrutiny of the local community, while Vince and Luke work on recruiting a new player for the Lions. Characters Tami, Julie, Billy, Becky, and Landry also return to the drama.
Friday Night Lights stars Kyle Chandler (Eric Taylor), Connie Britton (Tami Taylor), Aimee Teegarden (Julie Taylor), Taylor Kitsch (Tim Riggins), and Derek Phillips (Billy Riggins).
The fifth season will come to an end with the 13th episode titled “Always.
