Universal Studios has announced it will release “The Bionic Woman Season Two” on DVD, but not Blu-ray! The 24-episode 5-disc DVD box set will hit shelves May 17, 2011, featuring commentaries, featurettes, crossover episodes with “The Six Million Dollar Man,” gag reel and photo gallery. The DVDs are formatted in full frame, 1.33:1 aspect ratio, with Dolby Digital 2.0.
“The Bionic Woman” was an ABC television series that ran from 1976 to 1978. The series starred Lindsay Wagner (in 57 episodes) as the first female spy with bionic powers. ABC carried the first two seasons of “The Bionic Woman” but the third and final season was broadcast by NBC.
Season One of “The Bionic Woman” hit shelves in October, 2010, also exclusively on DVD.
