Verizon has added the horror/suspense movie network FEARnet to its FiOS TV lineup on channel 197. Although the channel isn’t offered in HD, FEARnet provides 24/7 access to horror genre films via the network, On Demand, mobile and online plaforms.
“Making FEARnet available as a linear channel, in addition to our already existing VOD programming, means that our customers will have greater access to this exciting lineup of horror movies,” said Terry Denson, vice president of content strategy and acquisition for Verizon.
The channel (which is already available on FiOS TV Video on Demand, is now part of Verizon’s ‘Extreme’ and ‘Ultimate’ TV Packages.
