Amazon has dropped the price of the Panasonic DMP-B500 portable Blu-ray Disc player, and for a limited time is offering three free Blu-ray Discs with the purchase of the 10.1″ DMP-B500 or 8.9″ DMP-B100.
The B500 and B100 both have WSVGA LCD screens at 1024 x 600 resolution. The higher end B500 has VIERA Cast which allows you to stream movies, TV shows, and music and supports Netflix, Amazon Video on Demand, and other online services. The player is also Wi-Fi capable with an optional LAN adapter.
Audio formats supported by both models include Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD.
And, an SD memory slot allows you to view photos and videos taken with digital cameras and camcorders.
A few of the 172 selected Blu-ray titles eligible for the offer include The Dark Knight, Serenity, Carlito’s Way, Chronicles of Riddick, The Tale of Despereaux and Bourne Ultimatum among others.
