Today’s new Blu-ray releases

Today’s Blu-ray Disc releases include several 3-packs from Fox Searchlight, which bundle three high-def films in one package to create Volumes 1, 2, 3 and 4. The 3-packs retail for about $70 but are currently available at Amazon from $42 to $45. (See below for titles.)

The unrated Director’s cut of Natural Born Killers is also out. The disc includes deleted scenes, an alternative ending, a new featurette titled “NBK Evolution: How Would It All Go Down Now?” (in high-definition), and a 44-page booklet.

If you want to to be prepared for the holidays, How the Grinch Stole Christmas is now available on Blu-ray. This is the Jim Carrey version from ’00 which Ron Howard directed and won an Oscar for best makeup. (The original animated film from 1966 was released last week.)
