Comcast adds HD channels in New Jersey

Speed HD, FX HD and Fox News Channel HD have been added to additional areas in Philadelphia, as well as Trenton and Lambertville market areas. Some areas in Philadelphia had already received the high-definition additions in the beginning of June. Now, the new HD channels are available to Comcast customers citywide.

“Comcast remains focused on making the highest quality HD programming available, and we have a continued commitment to significantly increase HD choices,” said Amy Smith, senior VP of Comcast’s Freedom Region -Philadelphia Metro area and New Jersey.

Comcast now offers more than 1,000 HD movies and TV shows on demand from their library.

Now that they’re pushing for their new XFINITY branding promising a ton more HD channels, I have to wonder WHEN this is going to happen….
