Time Warner Cable has added six new HD channels to its lineup in the Hilton Head Island and Sun City Hilton Head, South Carolina markets. The additions will start Friday, that according to the Hilton Head Island Packet. The new HD channels will include WSAV HD (Channel 805); USA HD (Channel 853); Scifi HD (Channel 854); CNBC HD (Channel 855); Bravo HD (Channel 856); and Telemundo SD (Channel 188).
WJCL will begin broadcasting in HD beginning Feb. 20. Telemundo will also launch this Friday, but only in standard definition.
