Blockbuster is still unloading its HD DVD rental collection at only $7.99 a pop. Subscribers will save 10 percent on top of that. However pickin’s are slim. After 10 minutes of searching I only found Firewall and March of the Penguins in HD DVD format. Ol’ school hi-defsters can check out the sale here.
You may also want to know select Blockbuster locations are selling the Samsung BDP-1500 Blu-ray player for $229. The unit usually sells for $249, so you’ve got a few bucks left to buy a Blu-ray disc. It’s about time isn’t it?
