A recent random polling of HD-Report readers crowned NBC show Heroes as having the best HD quality with 22% of the votes. Coming in second was Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (FOX) which grabbed 16% of the votes. In third place was CSI: Miami (CBS) with 14% of the votes.
Tied for fourth place with 9% of the votes were two shows: Prison Break (FOX) and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS).
The fifteen shows chosen for the poll were picked because of their availability in high-definition and primetime scheduling. The shows listed in the poll mainly fall under the Drama, Sci-Fi or Comedy genres.
The question asked, “Which primetime weeknight show has the best HD quality?” was intended to get some feedback from viewers regarding TV shows they believe to have the best high-definition quality.. There were no high-definition specifications given, and no distinctions made between broadcasts in 720p and 1080i or audio formats.
