Dish Network reached an agreement with Tribune to broadcast WGN America HD. That according to an article by Broadcasting & Cable. WGN America covers MLB teams Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox as well as the NBA’s Chicago Bulls.
“With the Cubs and White Sox leading their divisions in the Major Leagues, we are excited to reach this agreement with Tribune to launch WGN America in HD,” said Eric Sahl, senior vice president of programming for Dish Network.
WGN America in HD can be found on Dish channel 239. The satellite television provider will also begin broadcasting additional Tribune feeds from Seattle (KCPQ), New York (WPIX), Chicago (WGN-TV) and Sacramento, CA (KTXL).
