This morning DISH expanded its high definition lineup by offering local HD channels in 4 more markets including: Austin, Texas; Flint, Michigan; Orlando, Floriday; and West Palm Beach, Florida. This brings their number markets offering local HD in the U.S. to 39.
DISH Network now reaches more than 54 percent of U.S. television households with local HD channels. Local channels can include ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX and PBS. In addition, they are heading towards their 2008 goal of having 100 local HD markets and 100 nationwide HD channels.
