The Hunger Games is now watchable for U.S. Netflix streaming customers. Not familiar with the novel-turned-blockbuster from a year ago that ran up $408 million at the box office? Here’s the official plot summary from Netflix: In a dystopian future ruled by a totalitarian regime, resourceful Katniss and her partner, Peeta, represent their district in the lethal Hunger Games, a televised survival competition in which teenage contestants fight each other to the death. The film has already been streaming for Netflix customers in the U.K., Canada, and Ireland. That might explain the 1,434,277 ratings the film has already received on Netflix, where it is averaging a pretty impressive 4.1 out of 5 stars.
