Sony taking pre-orders on first tablets

Sony is now taking pre-orders on their first two tablets to hit the market. The Sony Tablet S will hit shelves next month in two hard-drive configurations -- 16GB and 32 GB -- priced at $499 and $599, respectively. Each tablet will feature a 9.4-inch touchscreen display and NVIDIA Tegra 2 mobile processor.

‘Resistance 3’ multiplayer beta with Patch 2.05 available to download

Insomniac Games has released the "Resistance 3" multiplayer beta demo with Patch 2.05 on the PlayStation Store. Several patches were released publicly over the last couple of weeks fixing various problems such as invisible play, "Game Has Game Has Already Ended During the match" message overlays, and server timeout issues. Insomniac says this will most likely be the last patch until the release date of Sept. 6, 2011. T

Want to share a photo immediately after taking it? That's what Panasonic's new LUMIX FX90 digital camera will allow you to do with its built-in Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) feature. The photos can currently be shared with Facebook, Flickr, Picasa and YouTube via a Panasonic cloud service called "LUMIX CLUB."
