Want to share a photo immediately after taking it? That’s what Panasonic’s new LUMIX FX90 digital camera will allow you to do with its built-in Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) feature. The photos can currently be shared with Facebook, Flickr, Picasa and YouTube via a Panasonic cloud service called “LUMIX CLUB.” The club is scheduled to launch on Sept. 5 and although un-confirmed we’re expecting it to be free.
On the camera side, the compact FX90 is constructed with a 24mm ultra-wide LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMARIT lens with F2.5 brightness. A 12.1MP CCD chip provides 1920 x 1080 HD video (60i w/sensor output at 30p) in AVCHD format. For viewing and camera controls, the FX90 has a 3.0-inch 460,000-dot LCD with Smart Touch capability.
Ship dates and pricing for the Panasonic LUMIX FX90 have not yet been announced.
