DISH Network announced the addition of 8 new high definition (HD) local markets that include the states of Vermont, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama and Rhode Island. DISH is now offering HD in 54 markets.
The new local markets are the following:
Burlington – Plattsburgh, Vt.
Greensboro – High Point – Winston Salem, N.C.
Greenville – Spartanburg – Asheville – Anderson, S.C.
Huntsville – Decatur, Ala.; Jackson, Miss.
Knoxville, Tenn.
Mobile – Pensacola (Ft. Walton Beach), Ala.
Providence – New Bedford, R.I.
The company is now offering 3 months of free programming, a DishDVR, and free installation to anyone who signs up for a 24-month commitment
