Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man starring Paul Rudd will release to 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray on Oct. 1st. The MCU installment is arriving the same day as Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and Doctor Strange (2016).
On UHD BD, Ant-Man is presented in 2160p resolution at 1.85:1 aspect ratio. The 4k print includes HDR10 for expanded color range. And, the English soundtrack has been upgraded to Dolby Atmos with 2.0 Descriptive Audio. French and Spanish tracks are available in 7.1 Dolby Digital Plus.
Extras that have been previously released (and only available on the 1080p Blu-ray) include Making of an Ant-Sized Heist: A How To Guide, Let’s Go To The Macroverse, WHIH News Front, deleted and extended scenes, and audio commentary from Peyton Reed and Paul Rudd.
