As you may know, Netflix adds roughly a hundred new titles every month. And, some of those titles are viewable in 4k Ultra HD (2160p) resolution with or without High Dynamic Range. HDR (delivered through either HDR10 or Dolby Vision) increases the amount of color luminance and contrast on TVs and devices that support it. A title doesn’t necessarily have to be in 4k resolution to utilize HDR, but in general, the two video formats go hand-in-hand.
