The third season of HBO’s Original Series True Detective is getting released to Blu-ray Disc and DVD on September 3, 2019. The 3-disc Blu-ray (List Price: $59.99) and 3-disc DVD (List Price: $49.99) include all eight episodes from this year.
Bonus materials on the Blu-ray edition have not been revealed but should include audio commentaries and several production featurettes as did the first and second seasons. There are digital copies of the episodes redeemable with an enclosed code provided in the Blu-ray edition only.
On Blu-ray, True Detective is presented in 1080p at 1.78:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 channel surround sound.
Amazon is selling True Detective: The Complete Third Season on Blu-ray for $46.29 and on DVD for $37.27.
