Warner Bros.’ Shazam! is coming to Blu-ray, 4k Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, and DVD on July 16th, all of which will follow an early digital release on July 2nd.
Each Blu-ray edition comes with over 90 minutes of bonus material including an exclusive motion comic Superhero Hooky, alternate opening and ending, deleted scenes, gag reel, audition footage, On Set with Zachary Levi, and Shazam!’s Backstory. Digital versions may also include bonus material (check with your favorite digital provider).
Shazam! Blu-ray
The Blu-ray edition presents Shazam! in 2.4:1 widescreen aspect ratio at 1080p resolution. Audio is provided in Dolby Atmos/Dolby TrueHD 7.1. A code to redeem a Digital Copy with Movies Anywhere is provided, as well as the bonus material mentioned above. The 2-disc Blu-ray edition is selling for $24.96 (List: $35.99) on Amazon.
Shazam! 4k Blu-ray
The 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray presentation of Shazam! is also presented in 2.4:1 aspect ratio but at 2160p resolution with Dolby Vision High Dynamic Range. The 4k disc provides audio in Dolby Atmos/Dolby Dolby TrueHD. And, along with bonus material a Digital Copy to redeem with Movies Anywhere. The 2-disc 4k Ultra HD edition is selling for $29.96 (List: $44.99) on Amazon.
Shazam! 3D Blu-ray
Warner Bros. has put together a 3-disc edition with 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD disc copies, as well as a Digital Copy to redeem with Movies Anywhere that will be a Best Buy exclusive. The 3D version is also presented in 2.4:1 aspect ratio and soundtrack offered in Dolby Atmos/Dolby Dolby TrueHD.
Best Buy is selling the 3D Blu-ray combo edition for $29.99.
Shazam! 4k SteelBook
Best Buy is releasing a 4k Blu-ray exclusive Limited Edition of Shazam! with custom artwork on the front, back and inside spread. This is the 2-disc edition with Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and Digital Code to redeem with Movies Anywhere. MSRP $34.99
