Warner Bros.’ summer comedy Crazy Rich Asians is headed for home media release on Blu-ray and Digital. The film will is expected to premiere first to digital formats on either Nov. 6 or 13, followed by disc formats and On Demand rental options on Nov. 20, 2018.
The Blu-ray edition of Crazy Rich Asians is formatted in 1080p at 16×9 (2.4:1) aspect ratio with a DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack. Other formats include English 5.1, English Descriptive Audio 5.1, French 5.1 (Dubbed in Quebec), and Spanish 5.1. Subtitles are offered in English SDH, French and Spanish.
So far, we have not heard of a 4k Blu-ray or Digital UHD release of this film. [Update: There is a 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray edition of Crazy Rich Asians with Blu-ray and Digital Copy. It’s also available in Digital 4k UHD from most services.]
Bonus features include commentary by Director Jon M. Chu and novelist Kevin Kwan, the featurette “Crazy Rich Fun,” deleted scenes, and a gag reel.
The Blu-ray combo from Warner Home Video also includes a DVD and Digital Copy redeemable with Movies Anywhere.
Crazy Rich Asians on Blu-ray has a suggested retail price of $35.99. Pre-orders are selling on Amazon for $24.99.
