We’ve known about the third season of Marvel’s Daredevil premiering this year after Netflix mentioned the series in an earnings report. The company has been teasing Season 3 but so far hadn’t revealed an official release date, until now. The new season, starring Charlie Cox as the blind lawyer/crime fighter, will premiere on Friday, Oct. 19.
The new 13-episode Daredevil season follows this month’s earlier premiere of Marvel’s Iron Fist: Season 2 consisting of 10 episodes.
All four Marvel series on Netflix have launched new seasons this year. Season 2 of Jessica Jones premiered back in March, and the second season of Luke Cage started streaming late June.
Daredevil, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage also unite in The Defenders series in which they fight a common enemy known as The Hand. That series premiered in Aug. 2017.
