One of the channels I’m most looking forward to coming to YouTube TV is NBA League Pass. The channel will be an add-on, of course, offering all National Basketball Association games during the season plus playoff games, a video vault to watch old games and clips, and multiple camera angles.
The addition of NBA League Pass will join other premium sports packages on YouTube TV such as MLB, NFL, Fox Soccer Plus $15 (per mo.) and national channels like Big Ten Network, YES Network, and NECN.
NBA League Pass will likely cost $199.99 for the full year ($28.99 per mo.) or the Premium League Pass $249.99 ($39.99 per mo.). Not long ago the service launched the ability to follow only one team for a discounted price. NBA Team Pass costs $119.99 per year or $17.99 per month.
The 2018/2019 NBA season begins with pre-season games at the end of September, with season-opening games beginning on Oct. 16, 2018.
NBA League Pass is a service operated by Turner Broadcasting System that allows viewing of up to 40 out-of-market National Basketball Association games per week, however, when games are broadcast on ABC, ESPN, TNT or NBA TV they are blacked out on League Pass but available on one of those channels.
YouTube TV was officially launched in Feb. 2017 and is now available in 100 cities nationwide.
