Ocean’s Eight starring Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway and Cate Blanchett will release to Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray on Tuesday, September 11th.
The film will first be available in digital formats (SD/HD/UHD) and although a confirmed date hasn’t been announced we expect digital sales to begin on Tuesday, August 21st.
Both the Blu-ray and 4k Blu-ray discs present Ocean’s Eight at 2.4:1 (16:9) widescreen aspect ratio with a Dolby Atmos soundtrack (backed by Dolby TrueHD). The 4k disc increases video resolution to 2160p and adds HDR (High Dynamic Range) color improvements.
Special features include the featurettes “A Heist in Heels,” “Ocean’s Team 3.0,” “Reimagining the Met Gala,” and deleted scenes.
Ocean’s Eight has a suggested retail price of $24.99 (Blu-ray) and $44.99 (Ultra HD Blu-ray) but pre-orders of the 4k edition are selling for $29.99. Best Buy also has an exclusive 4k Blu-ray SteelBook edition (picture below) selling for $34.99.
