At Comic-Con San Diego, CBS All Access released the official “First Look” trailer for the second season of Star Trek: Discovery starring Sonequa Martin-Green.
The trailer reveals quite a bit about the new episodes, and indicates a search for Michael Burnham’s brother, Spock, will be at least one of the plots during the season.
There are many questions about who will play Spock, and names that have been thrown around include Colin Morgan (Legend), Toby Kebbell (Fantastic Four 2015) and Richard Harmon (The 100).
However, even though co-creator Alex Kurtzman has said the role will be played by an actor new to the ‘Star Trek’ franchise, many believe Zachary Quinto could be asked to appear in the series.
Other actors seen in the trailer cast for Season Two include Anson Mount (Inhumans) as Captain Christopher Pike and comedian Tig Notaro as Chief Engineer Denise Reno.
