Arguably the most dominate NBA basketball player of all time, 6-time NBA champion Michael Jordan never lost a championship series and has been the inspiration for many NBA players to follow including Kobe Bryant, Lebron James and James Harden.
Now Jordan, who would probably have a couple more rings if he hadn’t retired from ’94 to ’95, will be the subject of a 10-part series titled The Last Dance that will take viewers through Jordan’s incredible run in the 1990’s with the Chicago Bulls and coach Phil Jackson.
The production will come from Andre the Giant director Jason Hehir (if you haven’t seen the doc yet it’s worth checking out), and incorporate over 500 hours of previously unseen footage that captured the Chicago Bull’s championship run in the 1997-98 season.
The Last Dance is scheduled to premiere on both Netflix and ESPN’s linear channels in 2019.
