The latest and final film in the “Fifty Shades” trilogy Fifty Shades Freed will be releasing to Blu-ray, 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray and DVD this coming Tuesday, May 8th.
On Blu-ray and 4k Blu-ray Fifty Shades Freed is presented in 1080p (Blu-ray) or 2160p (4k Blu-ray) at 2.40:1 widescreen aspect ratio. The Ultra HD Blu-ray edition also includes High Dynamic Range (HDR) via HDR10 for extended color depth. The English soundtrack is provided on both disc editions in DTS:X audio.
The 2-disc combo editions of Fifty Shades Freed from Universal include an extra disc copy on either DVD or Blu-ray, as well as a digital copy that can be redeemed through Movies Anywhere. There are also some extra features such as a deleted scene, music videos, a conversation with E L James and Eric John, and a couple featurettes.
