Apple TV 4k launched back in September with a large collection of digital movies in 4k. Some highlights of the last few months include the Harry Potter collection of 8 films, Blade Runner: The Final Cut and Blade Runner 2049, several Christopher Nolan films: Inception; Interstellar; Dunkirk; and The Dark Knight Trilogy, both Kingsman-branded movies, and the classic romance adventure The Princess Bride (1987).
Movies are usually priced between $9.99 and $19.99 for both HD and 4k resolution, and, most of those titles feature HDR color with either Dolby Vision or HDR10. 4k/HDR movies can be viewed on Apple TV 4k and Apple devices that support HDR (mainly, iPhone 8 or newer and iPad Pro (2017)).
Remember now, that Apple TV isn’t just the device and platform itself, Apple also rebranded its video app on iPhones and iPads to “TV.” So, if you’ve upgraded to the latest iOS version you probably won’t find that “Videos” app icon anymore. Look for “TV” to watch movies on iPhones and iPads.
