‘Best Picture’ Moonlight releasing to 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray

moonlight 4k blu-ray3-time Academy Award-winning film Moonlight has been announced for release on 4k Ultra HD Blu-ray. The movie was previously released to Blu-ray back in February when filmmaker Barry Jenkins received the award, but soon will be available in 2160p resolution on 4k TVs.

Moonlight was directed by Barry Jenkins, who also wrote the screenplay based on the story by Tarell Alvin McCraney. The film stars Shariff Earp, Duan Sanderson and Mahershala Ali who won the Oscar for “Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role.”

We don’t have all the audio and video specs yet (like will it include HDR color?), but will update this article when received.
