DirecTV is currently offering a free preview of their XTRA Package for anyone with lower-tier SELECT, ENTERTAINMENT, and CHOICE packages.
The XTRA package offers such networks as Lifetime Movies, Universal Kids HD, Oxygen, and American Heroes, among others that are not available on lower tier packages.
The free preview of DirecTV XTRA starts on Thursday, Sept. 21 and ends on Wednesday, Sept. 27.
XTRA is the fourth-tier channel package with over 230 channels to choose from, only surpassed by ULTIMATE (with over 245 channels) and PREMIER (with over 325 channels).
