Sony Pictures’ film The Dark Tower based on the books by Stephen King has been scheduled to release on Blu-ray, 4k Blu-ray, and DVD. All three discs will hit stores on Oct. 31st, as well as On Demand, following an early digital release on the 17th.
On 4k Blu-ray, The Dark Tower is presented in 2160p at 2.40:1 widescreen aspect ratio, with High Dynamic Range (HDR) color depth via Dolby Vision. The soundtrack is provided in multi-channel Dolby Atmos, as well as Dolby TrueHD 7.1.
Extra bonus materials on the Blu-ray editions include deleted scenes, blooper reel, and five movie featurettes such as “The Gunslinger in Action” and a tribute to the novels in “Last Time Around.” A digital copy of the movie is redeemable through UltraViolet.
