Buying Ultra HD Blu-ray discs is becoming more mainstream every day, evidenced by entire dedicated sections at retailers like Best Buy and Target. This month there are three popular movies hitting 4k Blu-ray (minus Rogue One: A Star Wars Story that won’t be available in UHD BD any time soon). Each Ultra HD Blu-ray combo pack includes copies of the film on 4k Blu-ray, Blu-ray and Digital HD.

Henson, Octavia Spencer and Janelle Monáe in this cold-war era drama based on true stories behind the NASA space program. The 4k resolution, 2160p video is embedded with special HDR color enhancements backed by an English DTS-HD-MA 7.1 soundtrack. Price: $24.99* (List: $39.99)
The film that stole the show at both the Academy Awards and Golden Globes, but to everyone’s surprise did not get the Oscar for Best Picture, writer/director Damien Chazelle’s La La Land releases to Blu-ray, 4k Blu-ray, and DVD on April 25th. 4K the new thing to have so ok buy the tv now I need a player so ok !! Wait most places try to fool you into buying 4K upscale blu-ray players that don’t play 4K discs their shelves are flooded with 4K tv’s but are useless with out a way to play 4K ok finally got a 4K blu-ray player and now it’s hard to find the titles you want like rogue one releases today and no 4K anywhere what gives. Sony comes out with a PlayStation 4 pro and it doesn’t play 4k discs yes you may be able to stream if you feel like paying for a service that may or may not offer 4k versions of the movies you like and then there’s your provider. Can it handle the flow are you capped and don’t know it who knows. I don’t personally have some meter like a gas pump that tells me how much I’m using at any given time do you.
