CBS Interactive, Inc. has updated the CBS Sports app for Android to support playback on Android TV devices. The app update, Version 8.4.7, has also improved categories so users can easily choose what sports to watch such as NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, NCAA, and Golf.
The CBS app provides scores, stats, news, tweets & push notifications for all major sports teams and can be personalized to a user’s favorites.
The app also offers live sporting events such as SEC football games (Sept-Dec), NCAA basketball (January-April), and the PGA TOUR (May-August), as well as sports shows such as Jim Rome, Boomer and Carton, Fantasy Football Today, and Fantasy Baseball Today.
The free app is available on Google Play where download size will depend on device.
