With the debut of XXX: Return of Xander Cage in theaters yesterday, it’s only fitting Apple is offering the first of the franchise films, XXX (2002), for just $4.99 in Digital HD. The iTunes digital movie is available as a download in 1080p Full HD, or, streaming in 720p to multiple Apple-supporting devices.
The soundtrack in formatted in Dolby 5.1 surround sound for audio systems that support it.
The purchase from Apple also includes iTunes Extras, with the original bonus material along with a new Franchise Retrospective that contains interviews with Vin Diesel and cast and crew about the newest film.
Not an Apple iTunes user? XXX can be purchased in Digital HD (1080p) from Google Play for $8.99, Amazon Video for $12.99, and Vudu for $13.99.
XXX was directed by D.J. Caruso and stars Vin Diesel, Donnie Yen, Deepika Padukone, Ice Cube and Oscar-nominated Samuel L. Jackson. The movie grossed $142M at the domestic box office, $125M internationally, on a $70M budget.
