Have you taken advantage of Google Play’s 50% discount on a digital movie yet? If not, be sure to get in on it before the end of the month. The limited-time promotion is offering one digital movie in SD or HD for half the list price.
Some new releases you might want to check out include Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, Keeping Up With The Joneses, and The Girl on the Train. Those movies are normally priced $14.99 each to purchase in HD, or $5.99 to rent in HD (except for Jack Reacher: Never Go Back). Take 50% off to purchase any one of those titles for $7.50.
However, the discount only applies to one digital purchase or rental.
For those of you with a supporting 4K TV or device (such as Chromecast Ultra), The Secret Life of Pets can also be purchased in UHD for $15 (50% off the regular price of $29.99). The 4k service was recently launched with over 125 movies in Ultra HD for customers in the US and Canada.
Google is ending this deal on January 31, 2017, and, titles rented must be watched within 30 days.
