Disney and Buena Vista Home Entertainment have announced the release date for Doctor Strange to Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, and DVD will be Feb. 28, 2017.
For those of you who have given up on hard copies, the digital movie will release two weeks earlier on Feb. 14, 2017. However, a digital purchase may not include all the extras planned for the disc editions including deleted scenes, gag reel, audio commentaries, and seven featurettes.
Doctor Strange on 3D Blu-ray will come in a somewhat uncommon three-disc combo (called the Cinematic Universe Edition) with Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD copy from iTunes or Google Play.
The Blu-ray discs are formatted in Full HD (1080p) resolution with a DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 surround soundtrack.
